Individual Adult Psychotherapy in Hillsborough, NC and Virtual

Welcome to my therapy practice. I offer individual adult psychotherapy in both English and Spanish in Hillsborough, North Carolina and online.
I see the therapeutic process as a collaborative partnership in your journey of healing, growth, and transformation. In my work with clients, I understand the present as influenced by significant life experiences, past relationships, intergenerational legacies, and the larger culture and systems we live in. Trauma, old patterns, and wounding live in our bodies and show up in many ways including in our relationships, beliefs, emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations.
Because trauma and past wounding manifest in different ways, my style is integrative and holistic. We will work together to understand, heal, and integrate these through a therapeutic approach that is relational, embodied, identity-affirming, anti-oppressive and spirit-oriented.
Above all else, our therapeutic relationship will center the innate healing capacity within you and support your own trust in your intuition and inner knowing.
MODALITIES
My therapeutic approach is influenced by several frameworks and modalities including:
Psychodynamic psychotherapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for traumatic memory re-processing
Internal Family System (parts work)
Emotionally Focused Therapy for relationship dynamics
Polyvagal Theory and nervous system awareness & regulation.
